Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year!

Hope all my clients had a wonderful Christmas and that you all have a happy new year!

I am now working again! So am looking forward to seeing you all and meeting new clients in 2019!

One of the questions I get asked the most..

One of the questions I get asked the most is whether I need you to provide anything. I will bring everything I need. For some treatments, I just need to be near a plug socket.

I bring a stool for myself to sit on, so sometimes you might just need a chair! Other than that, you can just sit back and relax! 🌸

Hardly any of my clients go 'nail polish free' even in the winter. I can't blame you! They look fabulous painted!

But while we are all at home and not seeing anyone, it's seems like a good time to suggest that you take the nail polish off and give them a good moisturise!

Moisturize your hands after washing, this is so important especially as we are washing our hands a lot more recently. When applying the moisturiser, be sure to rub it around and directly on your nails!

Before going to bed, moisturize your hands, feet, and nails to keep them hydrated as you sleep 🖐️👣

Don't be tempted to pluck your eyebrows! Use this lockdown time to take advantage and let them grow.. so that when this is all over I can shape your eyebrows beautifully!

Another mum came to the duck pond while we were feeding the ducks. She had a 5 year old daughter and a little baby. Ordinarily we probably wouldn't of said more than 'Hello' but with a distance between us we asked how eachother was and how it was effecting our little ones. We chatted for a while, I don't know about her but it sure made my day a little brighter!

Hopefully after this is all over we will continue to take the time to connect with more people and make each others day a little brighter. I sure will. You never know who might really need that smile or conversation. Good engery is contagious! Pass it on!

I'm hoping this is true, I certainly see glimmers of it yesterday on my early morning walk with Ella-Ray.

I passed a fair few people on my walk and nearly all over them said 'Good Morning' and gave us a smile. This wouldn't of happened before because we are all to busy, maybe one or two of them would of but certainly not as many as yesterday.

I've had to ban myself from wearing it until after dinner 😂 The first few days of self isolation I wore my dressing and pyjamas basically all day, I got barely anything done and felt crappy.

So the last few days I have got up, got dressed straight away and banned the dressing gown. And guess what? I've been a hell of a lot more productive!

So if your sitting in your dressing gown this morning, procrastinating and feeling sluggish. Why not join me? It might just make a difference. I know it might not work for everyone but it's worth a shot!

Hope you all have a great day!

I get asked a lot about nail growth so thought I would share some information about it.

▪️The average nail growth rate is about 0.5 cm per month, which means a brand new nail can take up to six months to grow completely.

▪️Nails grow faster in the summer than winter due to getting more ultraviolet light.

▪️They also grow faster in the summer because they get less dehydration from indoors pollutants, which can cause the nails to split, that's why we tell you to use gloves while cleaning and washing up.

▪️The condition of our nails, like that of skin and hair, reflects our general health and well being.

Circulation is the reason for these variations:

▪️Nails grow faster on fingers than they do on the toes.

▪️ They grow faster on your dominant hand.

▪️Nail growth in children is faster than adults.

▪️The ageing process slows down nail growth but can make them appear thicker.

Hope this answers some of your questions!
